Dave - Well, Johnathan, it was another great Land Show. I'll tell you, I was happy to have my good friend Vic Jackson with Sportsman's Outpost there in Waverly, Alabama, close to Auburn, talking about all the great things that they do. Hunting season coming on and processing and different products and big deer being killed, that was exciting to hear about.
Johnny - Yeah, yeah. Then we kept it over in that part of state. I went and talked to our buddy Captain David Hare there with Alex City Guide Service on Lake Martin. Sounds like they're catching some big striped bass. He was on the boat today so it was exciting to hear him talking about it.
Dave - Oh yeah, yeah. It's fun to hear him hook up and appreciate him being on. And then we had big Fred Hanners and you know Fred's a native son of the Wiregrass and just knows everything going on down there. We talked about farming and the peanut festival and just so many interesting things going on. Choctawhatchee River.
Johnny - Yeah.
Dave - Fred did a great job.
Johnny - Yeah, for sure. And then we wrapped it up. Well, we answered a question before we talked to Tim, we answered a question from one of our listeners about 1031 like-kind exchanges. Appreciated Pam sending us that. Talked about what a 1031 is and how you do one and that is my favorite number so we love 1031 exchanges.
Dave - Yeah, you did a great job answering the question. And then we wrapped it up with Wildman Tim Baker talking about all the great things going on. He's got some cranes, some Sandhill crane coming on his farm there and this season coming on, duck season coming on and all the great fishing opportunities. And you and I going up to that region.
Johnny - Different parts of the Tennessee Valley this weekend.
Dave - That's right, that's right. Listen, there's a lot going on. Appreciate you watching this podcast and be sure to listen to the rest of The Land Show with Dave and Johnny.
