As you continue on the main road, you will see open wildlife areas, saw tooth oak trees planted for the wildlife, and even a mayhaw tree grove. There is overhead power running to the 4" well, located near a small equipment shelter. This area would make a great place for a camper or hunting lodge. Travel a little further and you will see a beautiful, ~7 acre lake that is full of big largemouth, bream and crappie. Just south of the main lake there is a ~2 acre duck pond that annually draws a large variety of ducks for your wing shooting pleasure. Travel east across the pond dam and you will see a change of scenery. On the east side of the property you will find both longleaf and slash planted pines, which are ~15 years old. These younger pines provide excellent bedding and sanctuary areas for the whitetails, which is a key component for both attracting and holding deer, especially mature deer. The property has an excellent trail system, providing access to all areas of the property. Mixed in among the planted pines you will find numerous wildlife openings and food plot locations. Also on the east side of the farm there is a hardwood drain that traverses the property from the north property line to the south property line. Along this drain near the south boundary there is a beaver pond that also holds ducks yearly.
