John is an Associate Broker and Accredited Land Consultant (ALC), licensed in Alabama, Georgia, and Arkansas. John grew up in Gainesville, Georgia, and his passion for land and conservation began as a young boy while hunting and fishing with his dad. He achieved the rank of Eagle Scout at the age of fifteen. After high school, John attended Auburn University. After a successful career in the medical field, he decided to apply his knowledge and passion for land towards real estate and joined Southeastern Land Group. John was awarded the distinguished APEX Producers Award through the Realtors Land Institute in 2020, 2021, and 2024 recognizing him as one of the top 150 Land Agents in the country. John feels extremely blessed to serve others and help his clients achieve their goals with selling or purchasing the right property. His vast knowledge of the rural land sales market make him very beneficial to both his buyer and seller clients. He believes that listening to his clients short and long term goals is the key to successful results. His experience selling a variety of rural land investments such as mini farms, timber investments, agricultural property, high fence hunting plantations, 1031 like kind exchange, and recreational properties make him a vital asset to clients. He is committed to providing a high level of professionalism and service to all the people he has the opportunity to work with. John and his wife, Stacy, reside in Indian Springs Village in Shelby County, Alabama and have two children, Will and Jake. They are active members at Hunter Street Baptist Church in Hoover.
